‘Sequence Gestures’ by Sung Won Lee
‘Sequence Gestures’ by Korean furniture designer Sung Won Lee explore the social and public spaces through furniture installation and commission. ‘Sequence Gestures’ aims to create furniture based on the process of characteristics movements performed in social interaction.
If gestures work not only to deliver emotions and explain certain expression to the audience, they also help bring the conversation. As part of non-verbal communication, they range from subtle to highly expressive and important in understanding the meaning that is implied in a conversation. Non-native speakers often rely on them to interpret the words, and subtexts of conversation.
